SupermanA Poem by BrooklynHe holds his daughter’s hand And says everything will be okay. As she looks into his eyes She knows he would do anything To take her pain away. It’s his arms that hold her In the cold And when she’s afraid. She knows he’ll always be there To save the day. Though she doesn’t always listen, And they both hurt sometimes, He needs to know that he is superman In his daughter’s eyes. © 2012 BrooklynAuthor's Note
