Superman

Superman

A Poem by Brooklyn

He holds his daughter’s hand

And says everything will be okay.

As she looks into his eyes

She knows he would do anything

To take her pain away.

It’s his arms that hold her

In the cold

And when she’s afraid.

She knows he’ll always be there

To save the day.

Though she doesn’t always listen,

And they both hurt sometimes,

He needs to know that he is superman

In his daughter’s eyes.

Oh that's sweet, I don't know if Father's day has been yet or not but either way I bet your Dad will love it. Those last two lines are just perfect, this whole poem really just is so sweet.

you are 13? in our days having the soul of an artist in such young age is a true bless. i guess that you love your dad. hope you will show it to him

The only thing I would do is put a comma after the second-to-last line. Your dad will love it no matte what because you wrote it from the heart. He will be honored at how you have written it from the heart. This is really nice and I love (and he will too) how you related him to a superhero!
Keep it up

Try to keep each line around the same size and syllables it flows better that way, other than that good

So sweet; makes me think of my daddy. It will bring tears to his eyes, I am sure. He'll love it. Very beautiful.
