Once Great

Once Great

A Poem by Brooklyn

I falter

I stumble

I land among rumble

It is done

Can’t be changed

My name

Washed away

Forgotten

Among the dust

There must be

Some mistake

It seems like only yesterday

I was great

I'm sure in a different mindset, the right light, a unique gaze, and a roar of silence, this poem would glimmer and shine like the surface of glassy water.
Great idea, very nice poem

I love this :) the third line should be rubble though, not rumble :)
