Wind in the leaves

Wind in the leaves

A Poem by Brooklyn

You whisper my name

Your voice a gentle breeze

You laugh

Your voice is the wind in the leaves

You smile at me

Your face is the sun

You frown

The sky clouds

You whisper, “I’m sorry”

Rain begin to pelt down

You walk away

My heart breaks

Along comes the wind

Bitter and cold

Not like the one

When you used to hold (me)

But this wind will never go

An Autumn theme in Spring can only mean a dwelling in the past, or that which comes back to haunt. Nicely expressed; nicely written. Thanks for sharing this.
