One More Chance

One More Chance

A Poem by Brooklyn

One more crack

and it will shatter completely

One more heart-ache

and it will blow

One more theif

that will come to steal it

One more chance

and I won't waste it

One more trust

that will be betrayed

One more scar

that will be made

(but none will fade)

One more brick

and my wall will be complete

hard and sturdy

unable to be destroyed

One more chance

and I won't waste it

But he scales the walls

the walls that gaurd

my heart's shards

He takes it gently

into his hands

I fall blindly

and hope that he will catch me

before I hit the ground

One more chance

and I will take it

I honestly think that this is an outstanding poem, and a great representation of the words "one more chance" I can honestly feel the power an emotion behind this. and i can also relate to this piece.
