Nightmares

Nightmares

A Poem by Brooklyn

Day dreams

And nightmares.

In my mind

It’s so clear.

But on the outside,

In the real world,

I wander.

They tell me

I have time.

Don’t they know

That time is not mine?

Can’t I go

Where my dreams take me?

I choose even my nightmares

Over reality.

Because my fear feels real

And the world so fake.

Sorry about the jumble of thoughts combined...on the bright side it's short :)

I know what you mean there, sometimes I feel like my dreams are more realistic than reality.

I strongly relate to nightmares and you made a beautiful job on the subject.
I'm not so much diggin' the ending but above all, neat work.
Big ups'

Your poem relates a dream. Like most dreams, it's a jumble of thoughts and images. Dreams usually don't make sense. Your poem accurately portrays the feel of a dream. In that, it's a successful communication.
