ive become so numb

linkin park song got me writing this one :D

I feel nothing,

feel like I don't have a beating heart,

only when I can really laugh,

then only does my smile soon start to part,

wishing how I can go back,

when I didn't have to fake smiles,

and how I could be more open,

open as long as the Nile,

but ive become so numb,

I can only smile, share joy, and expressions,

only when im actually having fun,

where there not just impressions,

I don't know exactly how I got this way,

its really hard yet easy to tell,

yet I cant explain at all,

not even in simple detail.

I never knew this feeling before recently. When people would say they have such a feeling I used to not understand how that was possible. I think I understand it more now. Kind of feels like all the human energy has been punched right out of you. Thanks for sharing a poem with so much feeling, it is very good :)
