i wish i could wake up with amnesia

I wish I could forget my memory,

I could start anew,

Even if its temporary,

It would be better for me,

Even if I miss everything,

I want to be in a better place,

Even if I forget how to sing,

And even if I forget who I am,

If I leave everything behind,

I feel like I wouldn't care,

Even if I lose my happy memories in my mind,

There are some things I would keep,

If I could wake up with amnesia,

I would be happy all over again,

Even if I didn't believe ya,

At least you'd have memories of me with you,

And every wish I made,

Everything I dreamed,

Everything would fade,

But I would always be with you,

Even if this is just a dream,

I want it to be real for at least just a day,

Even if things aren't what they seem,

I would be happy to wake up with amnesia.

I have listened to this song and I liked it. I really like your poem:) It is relate able. Sometimes we want to forget certain things. It would be pretty cool if we can select what we want to keep and what we don't.

I really loved this poem, because I did have amnesia for a day and in truth it was the most peaceful thing to ever experience to forget all those things that make you worry and scared. I forgot everyone, everything all I knew was my older brothers name, though sadly the effect of it still today makes me not have all my memories that I once cherished, though the bliss of knowing nothing is a taste very few get and I am happy I did. Sorry for ranting lol. Good Job Yuki this is one of my favorite works of yours.
