Sadly, abuse can be passed down from generation to generation. Wars can be started by something as simple as believing a different way. It takes a lot of strong will and lots of love to break such cycles. Sometimes it happenens. Yet, other times...well, just look around our world today.

Thank you, Dean. Universal, inherited abuse rarely ends abruptly. My father in law once commented after a family dinner at their home that he "just doesn't understand why people complain of being abused as children...he never abused any of his children..." My husband stood up, announcing, "It is time for us to leave". And so we did.

So true some begin to beleive it's normal cause that's how they were brought up never properly taught how to deal with a situation it becomes a way of life.

A very sad statement, but I know how these bad behaviors are passed on through families. (I've seen it in my own) Someone has to break the cycle before it will end.
