Child.

Child.

A Poem by J.u.n.e.

I
Croaking and coughing
Breaking from nothing
The invisible chains that feed on the running
Back against wall
Blood in the halls
Scars and bruises I got from the fall

II
Bloodshot eyes
Blinding lights
Tears stream down amidst the cries
Heart beats fast
Sanity doesn’t last
I see the light and wonder why it’s vast

III
The voices get louder and louder
They pound on my head like a shower
I don’t know what to say or do
I just don’t want to die with you
My clothes are torn and battered
My being and confidence shattered
Brain can’t process the aftermath
And now I must face your wrath.

A lot of pain and sorrow was captured in this piece and succinctly put to digital paper. Good poem, keep up the good work.
