Letter to Juliet

Letter to Juliet

A Poem by thebrokenwillow

How do you feel now,

Covered in your Romeo's blood?

What use is such

Painful

         Love?

Do yuo feel reassured,

With his essence evaporated?

And it was all just

For

    You.

Open up dearest Juliet.

We all want to know your story.

If only just for

Sick

      Satisfaction.

Why did you kill yuorself

Destroy your future?

Did the guilt

Consume

             You?

We all know the truth

Lovely Juliet, it is apparent

You are just another

Empty

        Promise.

Your beauty blows

Across unsuspecting lips

Ready to crawl down

A

   Throat.

It is a little different now

Roight Juilet?

All the attention on you

Is

  Negative.

Maybe it is better this way

Now that there is no more,

The existence of empty

Hopes

         Gone.

I love this piece.
In my English class we had to write a letter to a character from Romeo & Juliet.
I wrote one as Mercutio writing into to the future to his ghost.
This is an excellent piece and I love the concept you have put into it.
Excellent work!
