You

You

A Poem by thebrokenwillow
"

A little poem about the little things from someone you love.

"

The golden brown strands

Fall across your face

As you laugh at my latest

Not- so- funny joke.

Your honey brown eyes

Twinkle voicing your feelings

Even while you speak them

My own personal messangers.

The sweet smell of your breath

Tickles my nose and my brain

As you talk of your lost hopes

And your new dreams.

Your long, lean body

Warms my figure along with my soul

As we lay wrapped up in

Each other whispering secrets.

The perfectly rough skin

On your hands scratches mine

When we walk through the world

Only seeing each other.

Your presence fills me

Every little bit of me

As I make my way through

The everyday, thinking about you.
