when the devil returns

what happens when the devil named Sean enters Mia's life. I don't know how this will end but I am sure it will create a lot of drama and end up revealing some secrets.

The day went by with me ignoring the presence of a certain someone named Sean. I am sure my weird behavior towards Sean might confusing but trust me I have my own reasons. The whole day today none messed with me, that included Dylan and that's a lot to ask for.

I was brought back to reality by ringing of a bell which indicates the end of school. I mentally praised myself for avoiding the devil!

I was walking towards Dylan's car cause he was my best friend and he likes to put it in terms of him being my personal chauffeur. In short he usually gives me ride back home. As soon as I came towards the car Dylan turned back and gave me a pitiful smile, I just rolled my eyes and sat in the passenger seat instead of reminding him that i hate someone pitying me.

Just as he was sitting in the car I felt someone opening my side of door. I looked up and found no other person except for the Devil himself.

"Sean." I said in a clipped tone. He gave me a sarcastic smirk and proceeded to take my bag from my hands which i was about to dump on the backseat. I glared at him and saw his action falter just for a second but he anyways took it from my hands.

"Come on princess!" He said while I shuddered listening to the pet name that he had given me before.

"I am not going anywhere with you!" I said giving him the sharpest look i could muster!

"Oh, but I think you might want to tell that to your dad considering that he was the one who asked me to take you with me." He said.

"So you are saying that my dad spoke to you properly after knowing whatever you have done?" Well it was not really a surprise but just a littler overwhelming to know that my dad woulds have actually tried to talk to this bumblebee! 

His face hardened but he still dragged me to his car while all I could do was to give Dylan an apologetic smile. I knew that he couldn't take me home against my "Dad's" permission.

"you know if I hadn't known about your best friend's little secret I would have thought that you both had a thing for each other." Devil said.

The rest of the ride went silently as I did not bother replying to him.

As soon as the car stopped in front of my house I ran to a room i thought I would never visit again. I held onto a frame which had a quote by Layla. I repeated it "Darkness can never defeat darkness, you always need light to defeat it!"

As I was done reading it i remembered the last thing she had told me before leaving me and Caleb here.

She said,

                 " If you remember, 

                    when you remember,

                     quote me until you get me,

                       if you remember the quote,

                         then get the quote to get me."

I stood there trying to comprehend the meaning of the riddle she left me. I was so engrossed in in my thoughts that I did not feel the frame slipping from hands until it fell down with a glass shattering sound. i stared down at the broken frame with tears threatening to fall from my eyes when i noticed something written at the corner of the painting. It said "E". As I looked up I realized, Sean standing there.

I heard him mutter something which sounded like he was cursing me. "Whatever." I thought!

I had another mission for the rest of the day, to find where my sister Layla has gone?
