Victory

Victory

A Poem by Khaotic Katastrophe

I lay silently in bed.

Warm tears quietly tell you

How cold and numb I really am

Many thoughts pour through my head.

As gentle rain falls, breaking my dread;

Relaxing and sweet as I try to forget.

Finally got my heart to stop bleeding

In a terrible mess; now scarred and beaten.

To see what has happen made me shake

Invisible but painful are the scars from my past life.

Am I willing to put those behind me?

Yes, I wish I could.

You’re misunderstanding what I say to you.

I’ve tired.

Nothing works. Always there.

Taunting the unexpected.

I refuse to see defeat.

From someone so insignificant.

It will come around again

But this time I will win.

As you never have.

This is so perfect to me. It gave me shivers, literally. Just a side note, I read you play flute, and I envy you because I tried and it is HARD! okay, back to the poem, sorry.

Favorite lines:
