I'm Waiting

I'm Waiting

A Poem by Khaotic Katastrophe

I am screaming silent cries from my soul.

my heart is bleeding,

but my fingers are numb

so i have no way to sew it up.

I wait for someone to help me,

for some reason that someone never comes.

I'm left alone.

Sitting and waiting

Alone.

Sitting and waiting.

Listening to the clock of infinite time; tick tock, tick tock.

Never ending pain

Surging through my veins,

Never getting better.

Never letting me forget.

Will I ever find peace?

Will i ever find release?

From this pain.

From this pain.

I sit, yet again, waiting...

Still, to no surprise

No one comes.

So I will

I will continue to sit here..

Alone,

Waiting,

Like a child with no name.

A person without meaning.

Waitng.

Will you come find me?

The flow is great here, and the image of trying to sew up a bleeding heart with numb fingers somehow seems perfect.
