You fooled me

this is about an ex-boyfriend

you always said that you loved me and i believed you

you would always hold me and kiss me and i thought that meant you loved me

well i guess i was wrong, love isn't quite that easy

even when i realized what was going on, i never had the nerve to tell you it was over...because I loved you

you played all of these mind games with me, you led me down these paths, but you would always tell me it would be okay, but guess what...? You fooled me

again and again, you would feed me these lies, but i was too much in love to notice

but now i can see i can understand that you fooled me
