Chapter Ten: I Won't Forget You

Chapter Ten: I Won't Forget You

A Chapter by Shawna Grace

A week after Tibby went to the angel’s wings. After she turned into a piece of Heaven.

It wasn’t gloomy or dark on the day of her funeral. It was sunny and bright. Just how she would’ve wanted it. Her favorite flower, pink roses were laid perfectly on it.

Carved into a ribbon-shaped tombstone were the words Tabitha Marie Flint. 1997-2009. A little piece of Heaven now.

Dad, mom, Alex and I all went up and said something to her grave.

“We’ll miss you forever Tibs. Always remember that,” mom said.

Dad whispered loudly to her, “You were a wonderful daughter Tabitha. You always will be.”

“Hopefully I’ll see you again one day,” Alex told her. “but for now, knowing your happier, if great with me.”

“Tibby.” I sighed her name. “I love you Tibby. I loved you since May 7th, 1997, when you where born, although I was only two. I still love you. I always will, Tibby. Even though I’m sad your gone, it’s wonderful to know that……that….that your waiting. That your not in pain anymore.  A piece of Heaven…..I won’t forget you, Tibby.”

And I won’t.

You're very talented at such a young age. As you improve your writing style, make sure you hold onto that eye for emotion. Keep it up :)
