A Poem by -!katie!-

Look all you want.

I promise you, it will not help you to know anything more about me.

Stare at me with those unforgiving eyes.

Go ahead, I dare you.

Try to understand me,

The real me,

Not the fictional me that has been created in the minds of teenagers,

And rapidly dispersed via nasty rumor.

Judge me all you want.

I garentee it is what you would rather hear.

Hey, maybe I am more interesting,

As that girl who fooled around with her ex boyfriend behind that old abandoned building,

Or that girl who got drunk at that party and threw up on her best friend,

Or maybe even as that girl who got raped last summer.

Who knows?

Just disregard the girl who I truely am.

The girl with the kind, broken heart.

The girl in love with intelligent humor, realistic fiction, and alternative rock.

The girl who can no longer trust anyone.

The girl with big dreams and a bright future.

Forget her.

She is nowhere near as intriguing.
