Hidden meaning in the night

I wrote. This came out.

I lay here

lost in my own thoughts

thoughts of me

thoughts of him

but I cannot fall asleep

because most of all

I'm lost in thoughts of you

your voice echoes through my mind

my cold skin remembers your warm, soft touch

my lips crave the sensation of the next time they meet yours

I feel pain

when I think

but it's okay

because I feel happiness too

and maybe me laying here

thinking of you

is what makes the pain endurable

because I see that the thoughts of you

overtake the worthless thoughts

of him

of pain

of heartbreak

that try to break in

so maybe these

sleepless moments

with the random ponderings

of my meandering mind

really mean something afterall

maybe they're meant to show me that everything can be okay

these thoughts I have

late at night

mean more than I believed.

This is wel sturctured and it displays your confusion well with is a rnadomness in thoughts.... you bounce back and forth like a person would when lieing awake at night nicely done!
