I Am Grateful

I Am Grateful

A Poem by BriAnna Wyble
"

this is a poem I wrote for my amazing parents

"

I am ever grateful and fortunate to have such a doting mother~

Her true splendor, grace, and beauty radiate from within.

She is one of life’s greatest blessings to her three daughters,

A teacher of benevolence, she is our nurturing hand against sin.

She continually walks a path of serenity, virtue, and devotion,

My mother is a wondrous woman~ who is bound by God’s merit.

Her everlasting love for her children is vaster than the ocean;

She has a sublime soul comprised of harmony and winsome spirit.

He is my favorite man; his morality makes him grander and sets him apart.

My father’s commitment to his children is so spirited and profound,

His joyous chuckle pacifies any twinge of pain in my heart.

My father’s jubilant laughter is truly my most beloved sound.

~I am grateful for my remarkable father, a true idol in my eyes,

He is the pillar of strength and wisdom in our household,

My father never surrenders despite hardship and strife,

~He is a true hero to three little girls that he helped mold.

There are no words to comprehend

The love I have for my mother & father.

In adulthood you both became my greatest friends~

I am so proud to be your firstborn daughter.

The wording in your poems Bri..incredible.."sublime soul".....what a tribute to your parents...and what a tribute to You...
Your writing is passionate and heartfelt...
You are a blessing
A POEM for you
Like a cup of warm hot chocolate ...on a cold winters day..
Like the beautiful flowers blooming in the month of May..
Like an evergreen Forrest trail...that knows no end
I'll be reading your poems over and over again..
Thank You
Debbie

I love seeing young people who show appreciation and respect to the ones who gave them life. A very heartfelt and touching poem. And it is easy to see they raised a delightful lady.

I tell people. Strong people come from solid ground. We need our elders and teachers to show us how to live. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
