Declan DavidA Poem by BriAnna WybleA poem I wrote for my son's 1st birthday. He will turn one on 8/10/2015Declan
David, My
winsome firstborn Son, O~ my precious little baby boy, You
have grown so handsome and stout in your first year. ~Born
with the essence of heavenly joy; Your peaceful
spirit begets the most idyllic cheer. You
were born in the serene balminess of sunlight, And in
wake of the Full Sturgeon Moon. You
were wholly loved afore first sight; When you
were just a tiny seed to be nurtured in my womb ~ You
were born with untainted innocence, And there
is a gleam captured in your cerulean eyes. They
hold a depth of beauty so immensely intense; As if they
were fashioned with the magic of beauteous azure skies. My
heart is bound by love’s conviction; such ardor is forever true. For
many moons I have watched you sprout with an untiring zeal. My
darling one, I value each twinkling I spend with you; There
is no grander veracity than the fondness and love that I feel. I have
never been more gracious, humble, and proud Than
to call myself your fervently devoted mother. At
your birth you crooned a most celebrated sound; A
sublime melody comprised with all of vivacity’s wonder. Happy first birthday my golden child, You have made my life absolutely merry
and worthwhile. Love Always, Your adoring mother © 2015 BriAnna Wyble |
