9:37 PM.

9:37 PM.

A Poem by bri

I keep memories with you in a mental lockbox.

I keep looking at the clock, but I still can’t find the right time

to open it up.

I’m afraid I might lose the key.

I keep memories of you in a mental lockbox

that I will only open up when the time is right;

when it feels okay to remember the breathtakingly beautiful story we wrote together.

When I can read it again without wanting to scribble out words,

rip pages, and edit the book.

I keep memories of you.

Do you?

Very nice I rather prefer 9.36pm over 9.37pm. As the lucky number is 9

Beautifully written! Sometimes we lock memories away for another day, and sometimes we may not want to unlock that memory!
