pain

Tears won't stop streaming down my flushed cheek.
The excruciating pain inside is making me weak.
I feel like life is just another version of hell.
Everything I go near just starts to repel.

Poison starts seeping into my mind.
Everyone gets ahead as I fall behind.
Darkness encloses around my pure soul.
Depression arises as my life takes its toll.

As I lie here in bed and start to think.
Of all the horrids that made me shrink.
Deep inside my toxic thoughts.
I think of all the pain that made me rot.

The poison has already reached my shattered heart.
The beating has stopped and won't ever start.
As I'm laying here just wanting to die.
I think to myself....why do I even try?
