Cure my emotions.

Cure my emotions.

A Poem by Britt Foster

trying to forget her, but

the words we shared,

and the warmth,

are resisting.

...clear my mind.

pushing to move on..

finding only memories

of a starry midnight sky,

and her heart beating,

gently,

against mine.

...cure my emotions.

can't seem to erase

the feeling of her hands,

her skin,

and the way she would smile,

her kiss.

...stop me from thinking.

i'm haunted by the pictures

of a swingset, the moon,

and me wrapped in her arms,

peaceful.

...let me forget.

please.

Excellent take on the grieving process! At one point in our lives we all feel this way. And we can come back and read this and know were not alone. :) You are an artist. Keep it up!

Wow. Great poem. It really makes me feel your emotions deep inside my gut. And the presence of this mysterious someone lingers on my skin as it lingers, I assume, on yours.

Good job Cyan!!! You're a great writer. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait to see more!
