If i push you too far, i'll take you in.

the rain is cold, i cant stand like this alone.

come take me from this stranded dream.

 

you know i am nothing more than a ghost,

but through me you can see the stars,

they can shine for you like they did for me.

i'll take your cold hands and i'll tuck them away.

safe in my pockets, far from today.

 

just let me read whats on your mind,

i crave your thoughts and i sleep to your rhyme.

our words they are entwined.

i love the sky and i live by the moon,

but why must you sleep when i need you most?

 

its okay, i can breathe on my own.

i can sleep on my own.

 

cant i?

 

 

taste this.

drink my soul.

show me things i shouldnt know

i can hear your heart beating,

beneath your tangled shirt.

i've been here before and ive seen this unseen light,

the darkness is dim and my mind is fleeting.

 

 

take me away, away from the sun

the night is more alive when the day is gone

its a tribute to love with more places to run.

 

now hide away and keep your face covered.

if we open our eyes we might be discovered.
