we've all become broken, we just don't know why.

 

just don't be messing with the lights in my eyes,

my vision may be blurry but i know you're up to no good.

if you didnt mean it, just tell me.

i can only see the sun rise, and you only see it fall.

 

i've forgotten to live,

"but i want to..."

"i cant help but think..."

 

it's useless.

how can someone with so much feeling be happy?

you were happy when i watched you go.

but i'd never stop you from walking out that door

just dont pretend.

 

i'm paying for my own crime

but if anything is more true, im sick,

im sick if trying to hide the mess i am

because im not crazy, i just lost my mind some where along the line.

 

this has clearly taken my by the throat,

im at beck and call,

but not for long, this will pass.

well, i've read everything you've got posted here so far and really enjoyed it all. rather than commenting on each poem, i just wanted to tell you how much i enjoyed your writing. you are a very talented writer. some of the combinations of words and thoughts that you use just make me stop and savor them. thanks for posting. i'll be back to enjoy more.
