Technicolour DreamA Poem by Briony BryantThe rain falls down hard, Awakening me from my Technicolour dream. Tangled in my sheets, Every single rain drops a different colour. Painting the window, It's Mother Nature's canvas, Creating her abstract art. The rain paints for me, A picture from my own dream, Reality slips. Colours start to blend, My sheets start to entangle, Technicolour dream. Green skies and Blue grass, All colours of the spectrum, Drowning in fantasy. Colours disguise me, A human Kaleidoscope, Distorting the real. The world is leaking, Bleeding all it's colours, Constantly changing. Rain is falling down, Washing away all the colours, Technicolour dream.
