And Time Keeps On PassingA Poem by BriAs days turn to months and months turn to years memories fade. And time keeps on passing.
As eyes lose their sparkle and innocence is gone bags are packed while friends say so long. And time keeps on passing.
Every now and then we visit and reminisce about how much better it was when we'd meet every day like this. And time keeps on passing.
We realize how things have changed. How different we all are. How nothing is the same. And time keeps on passing.
We forget even more as visits become few and far between. Wondering how it happened. How we are losing touch it seems. And time keeps on passing.
Fearing that pretty soon the memories will be elusive. When we can no longer remember how good we had it. And time keeps on passing.
