Seeing You Again

I sat there frozen watching words come out your mouth,

Hadn't seen or heard from you in months,

Yet back came the feelings I had once felt,

You smiled and talked and acted as if our relationship had never happened at all,

Meanwhile I was trying my hardest to not let one tear fall,

The reason it's so hard to see you again is because my mind flashes back to that time,

When life seemed it couldn't get more perfect because I was yours and you were mine,

We've been over for almost a year,

Yet somehow no matter how much time goes by I still care,

Though i've moved on and have someone new,

I will always have a special place in my heart for you,

When i got home i sat there and cried,

For it had felt like i was losing you again,

And that again a part of me had died,

I will always cherish our memories together and wont forget about back then,

And though I have someone new in my life,

My heart still breaks a little everytime I see you again..

This one hits home also. Sounds like we've gone through the same things, exactly. It sucks when you like/love someone that much and it is not reciprocated remotely in the same way, right?
