Game of Life

Game of Life

A Poem by breezy

Sitting here with nothing to do.

I just can not get my mind off of you.

I've never felt this way before.

This kind of rejection hurts me to the core.

You used to be here all the time,

And now you're gone.

How come it had to be my life that went all wrong?

Guess there's nothing to do but be strong.

I've heard that strength is nothing more than how well you hide the pain.

So I guess life really is a game.

So through the parents divorice and everything else,

I'll have to be tough,

Though there will be pain,

And do what it takes to win the game.

Really, there are a million ways to look at life. It can be a story, a journey or a game like you've said, or something different. This poem mixes angst with hope. It's inspiring and meaningful, and still so sad and tragic.

Keep Writing. ^___^
