Special Kind

All these people who left me behind,

They hurt me so badly,

But of all the people,

You're a different kind.

It may be stupid,

but I know you won't leave me behind.

Haven't talked to you in years,

And yet you still care.

Trying to get to know me,

Is something most people wouldn't dare.

You're like a gift,

You make me forget about what i've been through.

You came around at the perfect time,

And for making me forget and being so nice i want to thank you.

I put up a wall,

And only the ones who really care can get through.

Im really happy you made it through,

Because if I didn't have you right now,

I don't know what I would do.
