if i could slide down

if i could slide down

A Poem by brigid

if i could slide down….ss….22.4.2012

if i could slide down

the worn, warm flannelette stripe

of your dressing gown

and live to tell the tale,

i would.

if i could gloss over

the smooth round curve

of your buttocks

and melt into your freckles,

i would.

if i could fall into

the open cavern

of your loving heart

and never love again,

i would.

i would.

thanks so much for your beautiful review....... :)
Read, reread, saved, came back and read several more times. I really liked the flow and feel of this poem. "...melting into freckles..." what a great, imaginative thought.
Would you suggest more for me to read? This one was a privilege.

So much passion in this. Very nice indeed

Beautiful. Why is if such a small word when it could mean so much?
