this poem was sparked by a friend who told me she had a shy bladder. i asked her what she meant and she told me she couldnt pee in public places or if anyone was watching her. i started the poem with the line and the rest evolved...as i work in the field of healing and metaphysics i had a ready source of info on the mind/body connection..and a little personal experience thrown in too

I don't normally have a problem using public bathrooms. But when I was on probation, I had to take drug tests at the courthouse, and there would be a guy staring at me (LITERALLY staring at my junk) while I pissed in a cup. It was hellish, because I would always drink a s**t-load of water beforehand (to dilute my urine). So I would just have to stand there, with a full-to-bursting bladder, and will myself to piss while being stared at by another man. I'm so glad those days are over.
hello,
i cant believe it's been 7 long years since i was last here ...where has the time gone? not much poetry written in this gap but hopefully inspiration will strike again.
best wishes to all my .. more..
