Batteries

Batteries

A Poem by Bright Eyes

My batteries, they've run out
My batteries, they're lifeless
My batteries, they're gone
My batteries, they're broken

My life is drained
I've drained my batteries
My power is gone
My stamina is broken

My vive is no more
My drive is no more
I dive no more
I thrive no more

They're broken
They're dead
I'm broken
I'm dead

Awh, I like it, but it's sad all the same.

Most of you aren't going to like this. http://committeesofcorrespondence.wordpress.com/ I love Shakespeare, especially his sonnets. My favorite is Sonnet 18: Shall I compare thee to a summer.. more..
