Utopia

Utopia

A Story by Bright Eyes

I live in my own Utopia.  The nasty children cannot bother me there.
I sit in the classroom, but I am not there.  My body is there, but my mind and soul has floated, floated away, out of the window and off, thousands of thousands of kilometers, to my Utopia. There are no other people in my Utopia, because I do not trust human beings.  The Beings are harsh, cruel creatures that thrive on lust and suck the joy out of people, until they are left joyless, heartless, hapless, and hopeless.  They are like vacuums, sucking all emotion out of me except for pain.  Pain is how I live when I am not in my Utopia.  In my Utopia, I forget the physical pain which I am experiencing everywhere, from physical abuse in the World.  This is why I do not like the World.
