A Poem by Bright Eyes
"

It was a song I wrote a few years ago.

"

I look at your picture
On my wall
Knowing I used to
Have it all

I let you down
I went and lied
After you left
I almost died

I look at your picture
I had it all
I look at your picture
On my wall
AFter you fell
You barely got by
The days were black
But they went by

That day, I remember it.
You were hurt
You were full of s**t
It was after I let you down

And I'm sorry for the pain
But I am ashamed
I'm sorry for the pain
And it's a strain to

Look at your picture
I had it all
I look at your picture
On my wall
AFter you fell
You barely got by
The days were black
But they went by

Did you want to go
Did you really love me
Or was it just a show
And I'm so unsure now
I just want to know

This is really great, it seems to have a sort of beat like it's a song--is it lyrics? I like how the ending is almost like a cliffhanger--I want to know more!! Write more like this!! :)
