An ageless law does acutely decree
That everything born shall ephemeral be
We see our surrounding allies falling
We see them buried deep in dust
In austere silence they are calling
Saying anticipate death, for die you must
Weep not for me, my friends so dear
I am not dead, but sleeping here
My earthen bed, my grave you see
Prepare your life and follow me
Now deep in earth, this bed of sighs
I wait till I, like flame, shall rise
In days of late, the healing rain
Shall wash away these tears of pain
Then will my voice in great goodbyes
Join with the chorus of the skies
YES YES Eternality - the condition of having eternity as one’s mode of existence.. this has been understood in more than one way. Sometimes ‘eternal’ has been associated with endless temporal existence (as in ‘eternal life’) or with beginningless temporal existence (as in the medieval debate over whether the world was eternal). This idea of is darkness and death is also interesting. This was a wonderful rhyme and structure.
This is a bit dark ,but I love the way you told this..
yes we are all mortals, and when I go deep down ,dont cry for me my friends
Hope so good to you I was..for here is the secret,I ve known it and I will tell
My soul deep down is so at rest, for when I was up there with you,I was so quiet so
at peace with myself..I had love to cover all the block around me,never did I cause
anyone tears or drove him sad..I tried to spread smiles and laughs, lived an easy life
for I knew is would not last..I helped everyone and everywhere I could..gave me lots of happiness
thats how I always prepared to leave,i did not have much to arrange my life..
for it already was so arranged..and with a brave loving heart, when its time,I wa smiling and happy
this life will not last for anyone or forever,so if you give a piece of it to everyone, its the right thing to do
Hope everyone did understand..with an open clear heart you are always ready to leave with no tears
no sadness ,no regrets..all peace awaiting for you forever that maybe
I loved this..I ve always thought of this..
lovely write

I love Shakespeare, especially his sonnets. My favorite is Sonnet 18:
Shall I compare thee to a summer.. more..
