A Poem by Michaela Briggeman

Its calling--shouting--screaming at me.

Telling me how easy it'd be.

How peaceful, wanted, welcomed--it'd be.

A single motion--that'd set me free.

Send me where i long to--need to be.

A place of quiet--sanctuary.

A single cut--is all i need.

A single cut will set me free.

Wow, I really can't think of anything to describe this poem except amazing. I like how you have the dashes in the line "calling--shouting--screaming" Though you don't come out and state the obvious, you do a good job of portraying the feelings associated with cutting.
Please keep writing, I think this is really good.
