something that cant be mine

You are the star
that shines so bright
in my darkest night

You are the star
who seem so near
yet still so far

You are the star
that guides my way
for a place to stay

You are the star
that by simply looking
brings me peace and healing

You are the star
that never left my mind
but just like a star
I know you cant be mine
