Echoes

Echoes

A Poem by Daniel DeLorez

If I could go back in time, I'd change everything:

Every touch, every kiss, every word spoken.

It tears at my heart, the way that things turned out.

You're gone now, but I still feel you every day.

I pretend that these words aren't just in my head,

but that somehow they've reached into your thoughts.

I can still feel you.

Even in your absence I can feel your hatred towards me.

It seeps through your every orifice,

filling my head and screaming for release,

but I can't let it go...

These are very anguished words. There is no stronger emotion than love when it is broken. I guess many will identify with your poem.

Powerful. I think we've all felt like this at some point in our lives. You can definitely write. Definitely.

Thank you. This one's pretty old, don't even remember writing it.
Your writing is very powerful - it feels like it comes from your soul, very emotional and very good!
