Fear Shall Fear no More.

Fear Shall Fear no More.

A Poem by Bridget Murphy

Flowers entangled in the withering vine,

Lost in sight and mind,

Spoiled grapes make the wine,

Of the man who holds the sign.

Broken hearts sewn with sighs,

Curse the black of the skies,

Happiness is the servent of the lies,

Told by the man with the serpent eyes.

Life is born of tears,

Immortal of time, without fear,

Through the wind can you hear,

The words of he man with the hateful stare?

In my words can you see,

Hope, for hope needs to be,

And in that fiery sea,

Sit's the man after you and me.

Wow this was incredible! I think I'll always picture the anti-Christ just like this from now on.
Nice imagery--I was watching a plethora of scenes run by rather than just reading--and it had a great creepy? element.
Each line makes me visualize something specific. Nicely done!

The serpent eyes I can still see in my head. Tough subject, but I like the way you described him..and i agree with you. :) Very well done! The imagery was amazing.

I like your view on a hard subject. I believe the Anti-christ won't be the problem. It will be the greed and hate of man. Profit don't love the child. War is blind to the woman and children in the way of guns and Soldiers. I pray for better days and more people with kindness and love as their goal. A excellent poem. Made me think.
