Dear Stephanie,

Your laugh dances through the air,

Your face holds the truth, shone and bare,

Your joy makes me alive.

 

Dear Stephanie,

Your beauty is seen and envied,

Your grace is adored and loved,

Your smile makes people happy.

 

Dear Stephanie,

You life can't last forever,

Your beauty will fade,

You eyes will close at death's kiss.

 

Dear Stephanie, have no fear,

These words will keep you alive,

My words, shall hold the precious memory,

The memory of a friend.

A wonderful ode' for a best friend. It sweeps the reader up in it's joyful dance of imagery and emotion, allowing everyone to feel the bliss and happiness you feel when you think of her. An excellently put together poem.
