One Little TearA Poem by Bridget MurphyA tear, drips and lands On the hand of the unsuspecting, Who knew a small little thing could hurt so bad, When your hurt by the living.
No warning you get besides a small choke, When least you expect it, it will attack This little thing that will in pain soke, When the giver, stabs you in the back.
Small to say the least, Insignificant to others may be, But when you weep every night and curse the beast, The tear comes and attacks what it will see.
Anger, shame embarrassment, What can be the cause of such pain? Pain, yes pain, from pain the tear is sent, To rid the sanity from the sane.
This tear not from darkness nor death does it come, For blessed are those that weep, But not all that weep, weep for justice of the dumb, And their evil will seep.
Tears, tears, and tears to all will come crashing down, When least it shall be expected it will appear, Some will scream, some won't make a sound, When down their cheek will pour the pain of one little tear. © 2011 Bridget MurphyFeatured Review
