The Musician

The Musician

A Poem by Bridget Murphy
"

for Pat.

"
He plays a song for one,
And he plays a song for many,
but his rhymes go undone,
For his thoughts were sold for pennies.

You summed it up so well , a metaphor for life sometimes too.

A interest poem. I wanted to know more. Few musicians can make money without doing what they dislike. It is sad to see any entertainer who give up real dreams for little one's. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
