Philosophy

A Poem by Joe

They say when one door closes another one opens
Well pardon me but you have to be joking
I lost something somewhere along the way
And you expect in time for it to be replaced

I tip my hats off to the fools
Who act on superstition and follow rules
Not everything works out as planned
But sometimes you have to take a stand
This is life and it's all yours
Don't worry 'bout opening doors

If things were meant to be
Then it would all work just wait and see
I figure that at least once in your life
You have to think of what is right

Pressure can push you down to your knees
Making you beg and making you plead
For some escape from all the mess you're in
But it's just your fault
You let them win

I can't tell you how to live each day
But it seems you've got the wrong vibe
You're a bit off and that's okay
Just get on the right tracks to a good life

I tip my hats off to the fools
Who act on superstition and follow rules
Not everything works out as planned
But sometimes you have to take a stand
This is life and it's all yours
Don't worry 'bout opening doors

simplistic beauty! I love the flow of the piece and the rhyming scheme as well...
its an inspiring piece in its own special way.. you have wonderfully given the message of standing up and confronting life and fight for what yours rather than just sitting back like idiots ans waiting for things to happen.. it's indeed a good approach to life and has been captured beautifully by you in your words...
