Misfits of Oz

Misfits of Oz

A Poem by Joe

I need a brain
You need a heart
Lack of courage tears us apart

I'm lost I need to go home
You're a witch who can't be alone
I was swept away by your love
Landed in some fantasy like heaven above

I get attacked by trees
Also known as my enemies
We're the misfits of Oz
Just let me get to the Emerald City
So the Wizard can show me some pity

Just want to leave
This haunting dream
Just want to leave
This fading reality...
