In a Little Box

In a Little Box

A Poem by Joe

In a little box I see my previous dreams
Tearing apart at the seams
In a little box I see the thoughts of my enemies
They will make m e beg for mercy
In the little box are an assortment of colorful visions
The colors dance playfully as they ponder decisions
In this little box I see a reflection
The reflection is of myself and deception
In this box I will remain
Until I can push off the pain...

This poem is very raw... usuallly I like my poems cheerful, but this one has a certain quality to it.... I can't really describe it, but it's excellent! Very good job!
