Forget as I Have and All Shall Work Out (I Know You Lied)

Forget as I Have and All Shall Work Out (I Know You Lied)

A Poem by Joe
"

Could my days be numbered so I know what to expect?

"
Lost my breath when I was scared to death
And I can't seem to inhale
You caught me by surprise
So I devised a plan that was bound to fail

Start off with a simple conversation
Then reminisce of how much I hated
The fact that you led me on
To believe things that were quite wrong

It's all your fault
It's as though you tossed salt...into the deepest wound
Now I need some comfort in knowing I'll be alright
I need some comfort to make it through the night

Where are you when I need you in my darkest hour
Where are you when my heart is bleeding for over an hour
I'm not sure what I'm fighting for...anymore
