Your Guess is as Good as Mine

Your Guess is as Good as Mine

A Poem by Joe
"

Make of it what you will...

"
If this life is to be created once more
I wish to be reborn into a human who is not such a bore
Each day is a cliche
And I end up falling asleep on the floor

Listening to my own lullaby
As I begin to close my eyes
I drift away to an unlikely place
Which quickly dissolves into my own resolve

Find the answer to my questions
And you will be thanked for not keeping me guessing

Let the words flow freely in the cold air
And help me to understand what is not even there
This might not make sense which is not my intention
But those who think they know what I speak of are quite content then
Because they now know the mystery of my inability to make an effort in this life of mine

I applaud those who make a change or rearrange to make for a better today

Have you heard the song 'Lullaby' by The Spill Canvas? Good song. Anyways, days are mundane[sp]. I wish bodies didn't have to sleep. I like this poem as well. Keep writing. :]
