A Better Life

A Better Life

A Poem by Warrrior Poet
"

Never wait until its to late

"

I saw this life within a dream

far past this little stream.

To place a pebble within my hand,

letting it return back to the sand.

Watching echoes pass through out my mind,

what is this that I could not find?

For a better life has far past this time.

Would it not be some greater crime

if this day has come to a sudden end

with a message you could never send.

I've seen this life within my dream,

for it is not the end that you have seen.

To call to ones that you've deem.

Not to be able to break away from this bind,

if it wasn't for the eyes of the blind.

Could there be some kind of sign

if i could only hold it in these arms of mine.

The missing link that has bid the cost,

that we will be praying for the lost.

When this heart is finally broken,

with these words that where never spoken.

Of a dream that has gone to fast

that this better life is in the past.
