Small Talk

Small Talk

A Poem by bkp

I've gotten used to being introduced
alone
How's the job? How's your day?
Great weather outside, I must say.

But wait, what's this?
Comfort? Bliss?
Could it be? Are you the one?
Here I am, biting my tongue

But how do I know? Can I be sure?
If I was sick, would you be my cure?
This is the moment,
Let's take a walk.
Forever
                 begins with
                              a little
 small talk......................

That was well thought out, and a great ending, from small acorns grow mighty oaks........love has to start somewhere, and it usually is small talk, what else would it be...........good poetry :O}

Ah what a cute poem! Like you said, Forever/Everything begins with a little small talk! Nice format esp. for the end, that was neat. I like how you asked the questions in a "small talk" way. Good job!
